Navi Mumbai, which is also known as Twin City of main Mumbai city, was developed in 1976. Main purpose to develop this city was to free out the main Mumbai city and make it rush free. Today this city is a cosmopolitan city undergoing lots of developments. Navi Mumbai is separated with main Mumbai by Arabian Sea having Vashi Bridge in the south and Airoli Bridge at its north. Since this city is considered as 'no-slums' city it a good tourist place to be. Tourists can enjoy excellent sight scenes in and around Navi Mumbai.
In Navi Mumbai there is a garden named Sagar Vihar Garden. Sagar Vihar Garden is situated near the creek and has various verities of flowers grown in there. Names of these temples are Amritandamayi temple, Balaji temple, Narayanguru temple and Swaminarayan temple. Near to Navi Mumbai there are 2 hill stations that are quite famous because of their beauties. They are Lonavla and Khandala which are not more than 60 kms away from the place.
