Navi Mumbai is situated on the west coast of Maharashtra. It is known as largest planned city in the world and was developed in 1972 as twin city of Mumbai. The most costliest and developed areas of Mumbai are Vashi known as king and Nerul known as queen of Navi Mumbai. The City and Industrial Development Corporation was formed in 1971 they planned and constructed all the Railway stations in Navi Mumbai and developed it commercially. They divided the city in 14 nodes and further these nodes were divided into small sectors which were numbered. Among these the most older and populated nodes are Vashi, Nerul and Belapur.
There are many bridges and expressways build for the connectivity like the Vashi and Airoli Bridges connects Belapur , Nerul, Mulund and Eastern suburb of Mumbai. Sion Panvel Expressway was constructed to reduce the travel time from Sion to Panvel. The are many interesting places to visit such as Seawoods estate known as NRI Complex is the costliest estate in Navi Mumbai, Palm Beach Marg connecting Vashi and Belapur,Utsav Chowk at Kharghar, Shivaji Chowk and so on. The transport facilities in Mumbai are excellent by all means Roadways, Airways and Railways. Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust is the busiest port in India. The major languages spoken here are Marathi English and Mumbaiya Hindi. There are also many spiritual places like Balaji Temple Rajagopuram in Nerul, Swamiarayan Temple, and Churches of various dominations where timely the religion events are organized and festivals are celebrated.
In respect to education there are about 11 Engineering Colleges, 3 Architectural colleges and 2 Medical colleges. Each node is self sufficient in respect to education and medical facilities. There are about 128 primary schools and 80 secondary schools in this area. There also many big banner hospitals for the medical facilities. Navi Mumbai is full of life it has adequate utility services such as Multiplexes, Malls, Banks, Restaurants Hospitals etc.. Compared to Mumbai, Navi Mumbai has very few 3 Star and 5 Star Hotels. Majority of the Malls are in Vashi such as Center One, Citi Center, Inorbit Mall and Raghuleela Malland so on. For night outs there are many pubs and discotheques among them Ice n Spice Fine Dine Restaurant and lounge Bar is biggest disco theque for the young generation to hangout till late night. It has good dance floor and mind blowing sounds and lights. From all over the world people get connected to this place as Mumbai the Dream Land of India.
